Caretaker
Based in Manchester – various locations
Long term contract
Up to £15 per hour
For this role of a caretaker, you must have an enhanced DBS/Scottish discloser
This role as a caretaker is long term contract with a permanent contract offered after around 12 months
Caretaker Hours: 0800-1600 – flexibility may be required
Responsibilities of a caretaker:
– Perform general caretaking duties, including cleaning and maintaining the premises
– Ensure all areas are kept clean and tidy, including common areas, restrooms, and outdoor spaces
– Basic repairs and general maintenance
– Key holder responsibilities
– Grounds maintenance and gardening
– Restocking supplies as needed
– Reporting any maintenance or repair issues to the appropriate personnel
– Adhering to health and safety guidelines
Experience required for a caretaker:
– Knowledge of cleaning techniques and products
– Knowledge of basic domestic or business repairs
– Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
– Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
– Must have a current enhanced DBS or Scottish disclosure
