Hours of work are
08.30 – 17.00 Monday to Thursday 08.30 – 16.00 Fridays
25 days annual leave plus the normal statuary holidays
Our client is one of the UK’s leading mechanical and electrical building services contractors.
They specialise in the design, installation and maintenance of heating, air conditioning, ventilation,
drainage, plumbing and electrical solutions for the Residential, Hotel, Care Homes, Student
Accommodation, Leisure and Commercial sectors.
Due to our clients continued success and growth, we are looking for an enthusiastic, hardworking
individual to join our friendly and busy team at our London offices.
Duties will be to monitor and improve the quality of our workmanship across all aspects of mechanical
engineering on new build construction sites across London, Birmingham and Bristol.
Responsibilities include
Reviewing installation practices, inspecting materials, equipment, processes, and products,
developing quality control systems, and determining corrective actions.
You will also work with managers and supervisors to implement quality measures.
Must have excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to ensure that processes and products
consistently meet established quality standards.
Inspecting and testing materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications
are met
Collaborating with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
Ensuring that workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
Investigating and troubleshooting product or production issues
Developing corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
Developing and implementing quality standards.
Monitoring and analysing quality performance.
Witnessing and reviewing subcontractor installation works and documentation
Requirements:
2+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, quality assurance, or a similar role in construction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good customer service skills
Strong computer skills
